A living, howling monument to the ancestral energy of old vine Côte-Rôtie, pulled straight from the slope and bottled before it could be worshipped into extinction.

This is an established stunner for fans of Roberto Voerzio. While obviously young this is an incredible young wine.
3 bottles(s) of Cesare Bussolo 2021 Barolo La Serra for $154.99 per bottle (SKU6272) This is a dark, masculine, focused Barolo, concentrated, structured, yet defined by rose tones that stretch from entry to finish. Its grippy, but not punishing. The structure is enormous but it doesnt shout. Theres inner-mouth sweetness, a touch of cedar, pipe tobacco, dried cherry, mint, all cascading like a silk scarf unfurling in slow motion.

It is, quite simply, one of the best wines in Alto Piemonte. Full stop. At $43.99 each on a 4-pack, this is a wine that walks up to $150 Barolos, slaps them lightly on the cheek, and says, “Try again.”

Like a perfect summer where no one dies. The fruit from this vintage is unholy. Plump. Vivid. Radiant. Demonic. Alive.

Pomerols spiritual depth rendered with less budget and more soul.
