Rhone
8 bottles(s) of Andre Francois 2021 Cote Rotie Gerine for $44.99 per bottle (SKU6575) This is our best value Côte Rotie. If one has opened the 2015 Peintre Côte Rotie from Andre Francois that is a superstar wine and exhibits the kinky, exotic and rich side of the vintage countered by the superb freshness that 2015 brings. This is more rocky, more gravelly, more geeky and just so wonderful.
2 bottles(s) of Christophe Billon 2020 Cote Rotie La Vialliere for $64.99 per bottle (SKU5478) A more lifted, floral wine, the 2020 Côte Rôtie La Viallière (100% Syrah) has perfumed notes of red, blue, and black fruits as well as rose petals, candied violets, and flowery incense. Its medium to full-bodied, has a supple, elegant texture, and enough tannins to warrant 3-4 years of bottle age. – 92-94 Points, Jeb Dunnuck
2 bottles(s) of Christophe Billon 2021 Cote Rotie La Brocarde for $74.99 per bottle (SKU6167) Its a big, powerhouse Côte Rôtie, but it stays tight, focused, and pure on the palate, with plenty of ripe tannins. Its a wine that will demand bottle age. – 94-96 Jeb Dunnuck (20200
2 bottles(s) of Compagnie de lHermitage 2018 Cote Rotie Lieu Dit La Brocarde for $129.99 per bottle (SKU4615) La Brocarde is an amazing site and these are very old vines from the best parcel in Georges opinion. George knows his stuff and has tasted, walked these vineyards for decades. It is extraordinary and profound Côte Rotie of the highest degree but man does this wine need time
3 bottles(s) of Compagnie de lHermitage 2022 Crozes-Hermitage Rouge VV de Gervans for $41.99 per bottle (SKU6585) The vines and terroir are from a very famous winemaker which is all I can say. There are only 2,000 bottles produced. Then its gone. This is from very old vines and from arguably the top sector of Crozes-Hermitage. There is not one vintage like this of the Gervans we have sold so far as 22 is a classic and honest vintage reminiscent of 14 or 96
2 bottles(s) of Compagnie de lHermitage 2021 Chateauneuf du Pape Lieu Dit Pignan for $87.99 per bottle (SKU5836) Its an incredible effort in a challenging vintage (the south was slightly more successful than the north in 2021) and will drink beautifully over the coming decade. – 94 Points, Jeb Dunnuck
5 bottles(s) of Compagnie de lHermitage 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape Lieu Dit Pignan for $88.99 per bottle (SKU6584) Black raspberries, wild strawberries, spice, and hints of garrigue define the 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Pignan, a stunning, classic effort from this great site of sandier soils in the heart of the appellation. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it reveals ultra-fine tannins and beautiful balance, with a pure, seamless texture that carries through to a gorgeous finish. This floral, exotic, seamles
7 bottles(s) of Compagnie de lHermitage 2023 Cairanne Vieilles Vignes for $29.99 per bottle (SKU6562) The 2022 Cairanne Vieilles Vignes is a clear step up (although the 2021 is as charming and drinkable as they come), revealing a deeper ruby hue as well as a gorgeous perfume of black raspberries, wild strawberries, violets, and ground pepper. Its medium to full-bodied and has a supple, layered, elegant mouthfeel. – 93-95 Points, Jeb Dunnuck (2022)
2 bottles(s) of Compagnie de lHermitage 2021 Chateauneuf du Pape Lieu Dit Pignan for $88.99 per bottle (SKU6515) Closed aromatically, the 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape Lieu-Dit Pignan nevertheless has a generous, medium to full-bodied, concentrated style that carries black raspberry and blackberry fruits, some ground pepper and spring flower nuances, beautiful mid-palate depth, ultra-fine tannins, and a great finish. It’s an incredible effort in a challenging vintage (the south was slightly more successful than t
5 bottles(s) of Cuchet Beliando 2020 Cornas for $104.99 per bottle (SKU6735) Cuchet-Beliando isn’t just another Cornas. It’s a complete rethink of what the appellation can be. It has the wildness, yes, the meat, the iron, the game, but also a lightning-bolt clarity. Granite tension. Crystalline dark fruit. Structure and elegance in perfect suspension.
5 bottles(s) of Cuchet Beliando 2017 Cornas for $99.99 per bottle (SKU6615) Cuchet-Beliando isn’t just another Cornas. It’s a complete rethink of what the appellation can be. It has the wildness, yes, the meat, the iron, the game, but also a lightning-bolt clarity. Granite tension. Crystalline dark fruit. Structure and elegance in perfect suspension.
3 bottles(s) of Cuchet Beliando 2019 Cornas for $99.99 per bottle (SKU6610) Cuchet-Beliando isn’t just another Cornas. It’s a complete rethink of what the appellation can be. It has the wildness, yes, the meat, the iron, the game, but also a lightning-bolt clarity. Granite tension. Crystalline dark fruit. Structure and elegance in perfect suspension.
1 bottles(s) of Domaine de la Cote St Epine 2018 St Joseph Rouge Vieilles Vignes Cuvee Reserve for $35.99 per bottle (SKU4986) I am grouping the together as 18/19 are such similar vintages and the only differences are that 19 is skoche more accessible than the 18. 18 has more minerality and tannin and 19 is more opulent and is like a supercharged 17.
9 bottles(s) of Domaine des Pierres Seches 2022 St. Joseph Revirand for $51.99 per bottle (SKU6696) And this wine? It’s the statement piece. 50-year-old vines from weathered granite, whole cluster fermented, and then aged 18 months in 228L barrels, a St. Joseph that drinks like a $100 Côte-Rôtie. No exaggeration. It’s that good. Along with Blachon Margariat, it’s my top Saint-Joseph of the vintage, and frankly, the best mid-tier wine that performs like a high end bottle in the whole region.
1 bottles(s) of Domaine des Pierres Seches 2021 St. Joseph Revirand for $51.99 per bottle (SKU5923) This and Blachon Margariat are my top two St. Josephs of the vintage. This is so ultra silky and profound and just melts on the palate like nothing else.
3 bottles(s) of Domaine du Tunnel 2022 Cornas for $58.99 per bottle (SKU6670) The 2022 Cornas brings another level of density and depth, and while tasting it, you feel like you’re eating a raw piece of meat given its bloody, meaty profile. Dense purple-hued, with notes of blueberries, roasted herbs, iron, and ground pepper, this beauty is full-bodied, has a silky, layered mouthfeel, fine tannins, and a great finish. It’s a big, powerful Cornas, yet it still shows the focuse
3 bottles(s) of Domaine du Tunnel 2021 Cornas Vin Noir for $87.99 per bottle (SKU5200) The 2021 Cornas Vin Noir is even better and clearly a candidate for the wine of the appellation. Ripe blackberries, smoked herbs, cured meats, iron, and spice all flow to a medium to full-bodied, beautifully concentrated, balanced Cornas offering ripe, velvety tannins, plenty of mid-palate depth, and a great finish. Bravo. – 93-95 Jeb Dunnuck
6 bottles(s) of Domaine Michellas St Jemmes 2020 Cornas Terres dArces for $74.99 per bottle (SKU5364) Glass-staining violet color. Expansive, finely detailed aromas of blackberry and boysenberry, with exotic spice, floral oil, olive and sandalwood nuances building in the glass. Deep but energetic on the palate…… – 94 VINOUS
1 bottles(s) of Domaine St. Gayan 2019 Gigondas In Nominae Patris for $49.99 per bottle (SKU6373) What makes St. Gayan so magical? This is an estate that makes wines almost like they did in ancient times in that these are the boiled down essences of their respective appellations. And also in that they are not from vineyards that are terraced by man but from places where vines grow naturally and have their own unique and special microclimates. Plus Saint Gayan has very ancient vines.
4 bottles(s) of Emmanuel Verset 2022 Cornas Signature Verset for $82.99 per bottle (SKU6351) The wines of Emmanuelle Verset (Alains daughter) are exceedingly rare. Emmanuelle has single handedly put this estate on her back and raised its profile. This is the best Cornas estate you dont know about.
3 bottles(s) of Gerard Courbis 2023 St. Joseph Vieilles Vignes for $49.99 per bottle (SKU6728) 2023 Gerard Courbis St. Joseph VV – As. Close to pre-2007 Gonon As Well Ever Get
3 bottles(s) of Gerard Courbis et Fils 2023 Cornas for $66.99 per bottle (SKU6661) This wine blows me away. The 2023 Ludovic Courbis Cornas is one of the most remarkable expressions of terroir I have ever had from young(ish) vines. It proves, beyond any doubt, that terroir is king
5 bottles(s) of Guillaume Gilles 2021 Cornas for $89.99 per bottle (SKU5850) This is all Chaillot which really shows. Its got a gorgeously mineral nose with granite and really shows the mineral side of Cornas which is why it reminds me of a small scale Fauterie.
2 bottles(s) of Guillaume Gilles 2023 Cornas Nouvelle R for $65.99 per bottle (SKU6715) This comes from vines just over 20 years old in the flatter parcels of Cornas, but don’t let the geography fool you. Since 2019, this cuvée has evolved into a bona fide heavyweight, standing toe-to-toe with wines twice the price. In 2023, it may have hit its apex.
4 bottles(s) of Guillaume Gilles 2023 Cotes du Rhone Les Peyrouses for $51.99 per bottle (SKU6716) This isn’t Côtes du Rhône. It’s a wolf in CDR clothing. The 2023 Peyrouses has the same intensity, the same vinification, the same soul as Gilles’ legendary Cornas Chaillot, but it comes from two parcels in the flatlands just outside the official Cornas zone. One is 67 years old. The other is over 100.
1 bottles(s) of Hector Adrien Charalambos Lelektsoglou 2021 Cote Rotie for $67.99 per bottle (SKU5885) All of these George & Sons cuvees have their own distinctive character but also exude that top 1% Rhone elite quality. They are very secretive about fruit sources, elevage and refuse to evaluate their own wines
1 bottles(s) of Jacques Lemenicier 2021 Cornas for $51.99 per bottle (SKU5998) These are stunning examples of Cornas in a beautifully elegant silky style that is Chambolle-like or Volnay-like but with micro production Pomerol fruit quality. Truly extraordinary stuff.
1 bottles(s) of Jacques Lemenicier 2020 Cornas Pere Laurier for $87.99 per bottle (SKU5972) Blackberry, smoke, granite, flowers. blueberry, such huge minerality. Stunningly expansive nose, woodshop, just insanely complex, campfire, camphor. Raspberry cake, elegant and Burgundian and so supple and what a stunning texture. Amazing wine. –Lyle Fass, 9.8 Delectable
1 bottles(s) of Jean Michel Stephan 2022 Cote Rotie Coteaux du Bassenon for $145.99 per bottle (SKU6457) This cuvée includes some of the oldest vines in Côte-Rotie—60% Syrah from 1896 and 1902, 30% Serine, and 10% Viognier from 1988 vines. Co-fermented with carbonic and semi-carbonic maceration, this is Stephan at his best. The warmest site in his lineup, it brings the deepest fruit.
1 bottles(s) of Jean Michel Stephan 2020 Cote Rotie Coteaux du Bassenon for $154.99 per bottle (SKU5135)
4 bottles(s) of Julien Barge 2023 Cote Rotie Les Cotes for $91.99 per bottle (SKU6740) If 2022 felt like the breakthrough moment, 2023 is the deep breath after — confident, assured, utterly composed. The frame is finer, the aromatics more cut and dimensional, the whole wine moving with the kind of measured precision that only the most complete Côte?Rôties manage.
3 bottles(s) of Julien Barge 2016 Cote Rotie Le Combard for $99.99 per bottle (SKU6624) First of all this wine has a $500 nose. It is a unique aroma as for this newish cuvee (2010 was the first vintage) the soils are mostly volcanic which is unique in Cote-Rotie. This is downright Burgundian in all the best ways. The 2016 vintage is very overlooked and thats a shame as its neck and neck with 2015, especially in Cote Rotie
4 bottles(s) of Julien Barge 2023 Cote Rotie Couer de Combard for $124.99 per bottle (SKU6739) This is not just Barge’s most refined bottling, it’s one of the most aromatically singular wines in all of Côte-Rôtie. Let’s be clear: nothing smells like this. Not Allemand. Not Clape. Not Gilles. Not even Jamet at its most lifted. This is an alien transmission coming through volcanic soil, filtered through wild Syrah, and translated by a winemaker who now speaks this site’s dialect fluently.
4 bottles(s) of Julien Barge 2022 Cote Rotie Les Cotes for $78.99 per bottle (SKU6593) This is a blend of Le Combard, Lancement and Côte Blonde in 2022 and a few other less famous parcels. The first time I offered this wine I had not tasted it yet as I didnt know it even existed. I talked to Juliens wife about the wine back then and she said its the best wine Julien has ever made.
1 bottles(s) of Louis Sozet 2016 Cornas (4686) for $72.99 per bottle (SKU4686) Our most Burgundian Cornas. Stunning finesse from same parcal as Tunnels Pur Noir.
7 bottles(s) of Ludovic Courbis 2022 Cornas for $67.99 per bottle (SKU6267) And for me, this has always been the heir apparent to the now, extinct greats, Fauterie, Louis Sozet. It has everything those wines had: precision, depth, and an almost Burgundian exactitude that makes it stand out from so many other Cornas. It’s traditional to the core.
3 bottles(s) of Ludovic Courbis 2020 Cornas (5223) for $67.99 per bottle (SKU5223) This is one of the most remarkable wines Ive ever had from young (ish) vines and it proves that terroir is truly the great difference maker rather than vine age. Well at least in this instance.
3 bottles(s) of Luyton 2022 Hermitage Rouge for $61.99 per bottle (SKU6275) This is her best regular Hermitage since the 2015, and before that the 2013, which is a very underrated vintage. What we do know is the 2022 is a great vintage and Michelles 2022 is the best value by far in Hermitage. For the 10th year in a row.
35 bottles(s) of Lyle Fass Charalambos Lelektsoglou 2019 VDF Cuvée Ariane for $28.99 per bottle (SKU6520) The palate is lush and fruity but with a background of a firm mineral spine and the finesse is something else. Like one will not believe how elegant this wine is which I attribute to the old vines and extra aging in cement. So meaty, so stoney and I mean great stoniness and as long as the day in Iceland in late June.
3 bottles(s) of Maison Alexandrins 2018 Cornas (3451) for $57.99 per bottle (SKU3451) Such a sleeper Cornas. So rich and granite driven. Always better on day 2.
1 bottles(s) of Maison Alexandrins 2021 Hermitage Rouge (GCP) for $69.99 per bottle (SKU6144) This is a huge, huge enormous deal for top flight Hermitage made by one the great young winemaking talents in the Northern Rhone. The wine is sick. Its an unreal value
3 bottles(s) of Maison Alexandrins 2021 Cornas for $42.99 per bottle (SKU6056) That is an insane QPR. This is as good if a bit richer than the great Hermitage they make. Its in the same style we all know and love at Alexandrins.
2 bottles(s) of Maison Alexandrins 2021 Cornas (GCP) for $42.99 per bottle (SKU6145) This is as good if a bit richer than the great Hermitage they make. Its in the same style we all know and love at Alexandrins.
3 bottles(s) of Mikael Bourg 2023 Cornas Les ptits bout for $63.99 per bottle (SKU6731) This is a classicist’s Cornas, forged in the same fire that made Allemand, Cuchet-Beliando, and Verset sacred names. A blend of three sites, including the legendary Chaillot, where the greats are made, this is the wine that defines why we still believe in terroir.
7 bottles(s) of Mikael Bourg 2023 VDF Le Demarcante for $36.99 per bottle (SKU6732) Why is this different? Because it’s mostly Syrah, but with 15–20% Gamay folded in. And that one decision changes everything. This isn’t some silly glou glou red in Rhône cosplay. This is a serious, stemmy, spice-laced, aromatically explosive Rhône wine with a touch of uplift and cheek from the Gamay.
8 bottles(s) of Nicolas Champagneaux 2021 Cote Rotie La Dedicace for $67.99 per bottle (SKU5840) Its 100% Syrah and shows what Nicolas can do in an utterly classic vintage. 2021 has gotten better and better since theyve been bottled and some seem to be really good young. This is 100% from Les Grandes Palaces. Vines are 33 years old. 100 cases total production.
2 bottles(s) of Nicolas Champagneaux 2021 Cote Rotie Les Grands Palaces for $109.99 per bottle (SKU5796) I love its purity of fruit, and it has a focused, chiseled texture and outstanding length. – 91 Points, Jeb Dunnuck
1 bottles(s) of Patrick Jasmin 2022 Cote Rotie La Giroflaire for $62.99 per bottle (SKU6641) This is an ultra rare wine as Jasmin made almost no wine in 2022. This will be an insane experience in 5-6 years. It will pass the Faust test; you will trade your immortal soul for the joy of it lingering on your palate to last another moment.
2 bottles(s) of Vincent Paris 2021 Cornas Granit 60 for $45.99 per bottle (SKU6142) Theres less baby fat here, so the tannins feel more present, yet it has good concentration, and I suspect it will gain richness over the course of its élevage. – 90-92 Pts, Jeb Dunnuck

Italy
4 bottles(s) of Arpepe 2017 Sasella Valtellina Superiore Stella Retica for $38.99 per bottle (SKU6827) This is an elegance bomb. Audrey Hepburn’s posture, Debussy’s left hand, Hermes scarves caught in a breeze, wrap that all in cherry blossom and pipe smoke and you’re getting close. It’s one of those wines that doesn’t shout. It shimmers.
12 bottles(s) of Arpepe 2019 Grumello Rocca de Piro Valtellina Superiore for $53.99 per bottle (SKU6807) There’s still that otherworldly Chambolle/Volnay tension, light frame, immense resonance, but 2019 dials up the crystalline fruit and tension even more. I’ve rarely tasted a Nebbiolo with such uncanny precision of structure and sweetness of fruit. It reads like a poem written in sapphires.
1 bottles(s) of Arpepe 2016 Sassella Rocce Rosse Valtellina Superiore DOCG Riserva for $99.99 per bottle (SKU6845) The Ar. Pe. Pe. 2016 Valtellina Superiore Riserva Sassella Rocce Rosse is initially understated with timid primary fruit, blood orange and apricot. There is a pretty spiciness as well, with dried cinnamon stick, nutmeg and tanned leather. The wine needs time, and if you come back to the glass after a little pause, it sings with greater intensity and balance. – 96 Points, WA Monica Larner
2 bottles(s) of Cantina Menegola 2018 Valtellina Sasella Riserva Special for $62.99 per bottle (SKU6160) This is from 113 year old vines which are the oldest I have ever heard of in Valtellina and some of the oldest Nebbiolo vines in all of Italy
12 bottles(s) of Cecllia Monte 2013 Barbaresco Serracapelli for $50.99 per bottle (SKU5265) I have not hard his as we started with the winery with the 2014 vintage but given her style and the character of the vintage, I had to sell it.
3 bottles(s) of Cesare Bussolo 2021 Barolo La Serra for $154.99 per bottle (SKU6272) This is a dark, masculine, focused Barolo, concentrated, structured, yet defined by rose tones that stretch from entry to finish. It’s grippy, but not punishing. The structure is enormous but it doesn’t shout. There’s inner-mouth sweetness, a touch of cedar, pipe tobacco, dried cherry, mint, all cascading like a silk scarf unfurling in slow motio
4 bottles(s) of Cesare Bussolo 2020 Barolo La Serra for $154.99 per bottle (SKU5610) This is the second vintage of this wine and Cesare is making a top cru that is more focused on elegance and balance. This is an established stunner for fans of Roberto Voerzio. While obviously young this is an incredible young wine.
5 bottles(s) of Cesare Bussolo 2021 Barolo del Comune di La Morra for $105.99 per bottle (SKU6389) I think Cesare is the Italian Zeireisen or Brisset. He cannot miss. So haunting. This is like old school elite Volnay. What texture
14 bottles(s) of Cesare Bussolo 2023 Dolcetto dAlba San Bartolomeo for $25.99 per bottle (SKU6230) Its one of the best and basically the most elegant Dolcetto Ive had. Think a Dolcetto made in the style of old school Barbaresco and you get an idea. I’ve got a bit more than last time I sold it so I can hyperbolize a bit more. This is the best Dolcetto I have ever had. It has elite aromas, florals and so much finesse it’s like Grand Cru Dolcetto.
1 bottles(s) of Cesare Bussolo 2021 Barbera d Alba Roscaleto for $124.99 per bottle (SKU6257) Palate is super concentrated but light as feather and has unreal fruit. Maybe the most elegant and balanced Barbera Ive ever had. Remarkable. So elegant, pure and concentrated with just absolutely thrilling fruit
1 bottles(s) of Cesare Bussolo 2021 Barolo Fossati for $154.99 per bottle (SKU6271) On the palate, this is laser-cut elegance. Concentrated, yes, but never heavy. It’s like a Chambolle 1er Cru made of Nebbiolo, salty, sweet, crunchy cherries with glistening minerality. Salinity meets satin.
8 bottles(s) of Cesare Bussolo 2022 Barbera dAlba Vigna San Lucia for $36.99 per bottle (SKU6229) This is god-level Barbera, and that’s not hyperbole
5 bottles(s) of Cian Fagna 2018 Sator Gran Maestro for $54.99 per bottle (SKU6211) Every serious Italian wine geek needs to try this. This is by far the best version I have had and recent bottle blew new away in that it is a wine that is so rich, yet equally ephemeral.
3 bottles(s) of Petra 2020 Potenti Toscana IGT for $34.99 per bottle (SKU5366) The 2020 Potenti could be a classed growth Bordeaux. It has incredible flavor intensity allied with even better freshness and a sense of real refinement. Its polished but not nearly too polished.
1 bottles(s) of Pier Paolo Grasso 1998 Barbaresco Piccola Emma for $82.99 per bottle (SKU6291) These bottles have been resting in Grasso’s cellar and were only recently bottled. This late-bottling method is exceedingly rare, and I know of only two producers who use it. That’s why I’m offering case pricing—this is a chance to secure something genuinely extraordinary, and you won’t want to miss it.
2 bottles(s) of Podere ai Valloni 2010 Boca Vigna Cristiana (4545) for $49.99 per bottle (SKU4545) The 2010 Boca Vigna Cristiana shows all of the complexity and subtlety of a wine that spent three years in cask. The aromatics alone are beguiling. An exotic mix of sweet pipe tobacco, mint, dried flowers, spice and cedar lifts effortlessly from the glass. Medium in body, with striking energy and verve, the 2010 is a fabulous example of the appellation, with tons of pungent, savory character to ma
9 bottles(s) of Quazzolo 2020 Barbaresco for $37.99 per bottle (SKU5955)
12 bottles(s) of Quazzolo 2020 Barbaresco Ovello for $45.99 per bottle (SKU5956) This is simply stunning. It comes from one of the coolest sites in Barbaresco.
2 bottles(s) of Rattalino 2016 Barbaresco Riserva Sel. 45 for $57.99 per bottle (SKU6023) This is just at the beginning of its drinking window and has the structure to age and improve for a decade or more. The finish is endless, fresh, energetic with just too top delineation. This is a classic wine and just brilliant.
1 bottles(s) of Rocche Di Barbari 2019 Primanebbia Langhe Nebbiolo for $38.99 per bottle (SKU6692) It tastes the way Nebbiolo used to dream before the Barolo Boys took it clubbing. Long, slow extractions. No cosmetic fruit. Nothing dialed up for export markets. Just a sliver of cherry and rose and iron dragged from the earth with tweezers. You don’t drink it so much as you commune with it.
2 bottles(s) of Sergio Barbaglia 2019 Boca for $41.99 per bottle (SKU6259) The palate is nuanced, haunting, elegant, cerebral and just flat out gorgeous. It is dense and structured in 2019 but so refined. Yet it retains that Barbaglia prettiness.
3 bottles(s) of Sergio Barbaglia 2021 Colline Novaresi Croatina for $22.99 per bottle (SKU6260) The age is great as it seemed to harmonize all the parts to it. Its really something and a tremendous wine. It has ripe and juicy tannins and if one has to compare it to anything please let it be traditional old school Dolcetto from Dogliani from the standpoint of pure enjoyment.
3 bottles(s) of Tenuta col Falco 2019 Montefalco Rosso for $19.99 per bottle (SKU6676) This is essentially a baby Montefalco di Sagrantino, same soul, same intensity, just in a more accessible package. But don’t mistake baby for soft as this thing has real grip. It demands a 2-hour decant, which is not something you expect from a $19.99 wine. But here we are. Welcome to Fass Selections.
3 bottles(s) of Tenuta col Falco 2019 Sagrantino di Montefalco for $29.99 per bottle (SKU6677) This wine is so dense and complex it almost defies belief. It reminds me of Paolo Bea before he went full natural, back when he was making classic, structured Sagrantino. This is another all-time Fass Selections value.
10 bottles(s) of Tenuta Monolo Gilodi 1990 Bramaterra Riserva for $24.99 per bottle (SKU6425) The palate is seamless and so elegant. Black tea, leather and tons of those violets. Stinking energy and intensity and serious ripe tannins. Tons of tertiary and non fruit flavors. There is also an intense minerality that expresses itself via graphite and iron.
9 bottles(s) of Tenuta Monolo Gilodi 1989 Bramaterra Riserva for $24.99 per bottle (SKU6426) Palate is elegant and pure with gorgeous cherry fruit. Amazing supple texture but also bright acids and wonderfully fine tannins. So long, balanced, fresh and pure. So precise with crazy energy.
2 bottles(s) of Vietti 2019 Barolo Cerequio for $296.99 per bottle (SKU5319)
3 bottles(s) of Vigneti Valle Roncati 2013 Fara Riserva Ciada for $29.99 per bottle (SKU6484) Palate is concentrated, deep and complex. Very chewy tannins and terrific structure. Big boned and incredible depth to this. Slatey almost Aglianico-like tannins. This has 15-20 years ahead of it and will be better in 3-4 years. Grand Cru level. Really concentrated. Echoes on the palate.
10 bottles(s) of Vini Chiussima 2022 Carema for $56.99 per bottle (SKU6751) We chased these wines for years. YEARS. And when I finally tasted them, I just laughed. That quiet laugh you let out when something completely overdelivers in a way you didn’t even know to expect. These wines are a secret. But they won’t be for long. And yes, Carema ages like Barolo. But unlike Barolo, Carema does not insist. It seduces. Gently. Silently. Power wrapped in lace.

Bordeaux
8 bottles(s) of Chateau Samion 2022 Bordeaux for $37.99 per bottle (SKU6618) This is mythical and it seems the perfect expression of what Jean-Claude Berrouet has been trying to achieve. Even eclipsing the magnificent 2019 and 2020, but Pomerol and Lalande-de-Pomerol where Samion hails from are the star appellations of a historically great vintage in Bordeaux.
4 bottles(s) of Vieux Chateau St. Andree 2020 Vieux Chateau St. Andre for $33.99 per bottle (SKU5222) This is a much more accessible version from the same guy who brings you Samion, in that it can be drunk now. It is not a glugger by any means but just because of where it comes from, it is ready to go with a 30 minute decant right out of the gate
5 bottles(s) of Vieux Chateau St. Andree 2022 Vieux Chateau St. Andre for $33.99 per bottle (SKU6619) This is a much more accessible version from the same guy who brings you Samion, in that it can be drunk now. It is not a glugger by any means but just because of where it comes from, it is ready to go with a 30 minute decant right out of the gate.
8 bottles(s) of Vieux Chateau St. Andree 2020 Vieux Chateau St. Andre for $34.99 per bottle (SKU5878) This is a much more accessible version from the same guy who brings you Samion, in that it can be drunk now. 14 bottles(s) of Lafarge Vial 2019 Fleurie Clos Vernay for $37.99 per bottle (SKU6131) The most structured Fleurie in the range is the 2019 Fleurie Clos Vernay, a medium to full-bodied, elegantly muscular wine evocative of plums, sweet wild berries, orange rind and spices. – 94+, WA William Kelley
18 bottles(s) of Lafarge Vial 2019 Fleurie La Joie du Palais for $37.99 per bottle (SKU6132) Medium to full-bodied, lively and saline, its a vibrant, mineral wine with upside for those with a little patience. As readers may remember, this 1.5-hectare parcel of steeply sloping decomposed pink granite was planted in the 1950s. 94, WA, William Kelley
12 bottles(s) of Raphael Chopin 2019 Regnie Les Braves for $34.99 per bottle (SKU4335) Very elegant Regnie bursting with fruit and planted on the special pink granite that is unique to this area of Regnie.
10 bottles(s) of Yvon Metras 2022 Beaujolais Villages for $46.99 per bottle (SKU6636) Métras wines are magical, but magic isn’t always easy to find. This is the first time I’ve been able to sell Métras since maybe the first or second year of my company

Switzerland
7 bottles(s) of Daniel And Monika Marugg 2023 Merlot/Malbec for $40.99 per bottle (SKU6462) I was completely captivated by the elegance, depth, and nimbleness of this wine. It was refined, sleek, and showcased some of the purest Merlot/Malbec fruit I’ve ever encountered. What made it even more striking was the unmistakable Swiss Alpine character woven into the win
4 bottles(s) of Mohr-Niggli 2021 Pinot Noir Mainefeld Pilgrim for $56.99 per bottle (SKU5638) This excellent Pinot is from 30- to 40-year-old vines (Swiss clones) planted on several spots in an around Maienfeld (crus Stellibofel, Felder and Pilger). 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. – 93+, WA. Stephan Reinhardt
1 bottles(s) of Mohr-Niggli 2022 Graf Pinot Noir for $57.99 per bottle (SKU6302) Sourced from an early-ripening terroir and thus picked early, this is a pure, light, fresh yet intense and delicate Pinot with a playful and frisky character. Its very fine yet with serious length and crystalline acidity. This rare 2022 Graf needs some years on the bottle to gain complexity and texture, but its full of energy, finesse and purity. – 93+ Stephan Reinhardt, WA
15 bottles(s) of Mohr-Niggli 2023 Pinot Noir Graubunden for $38.99 per bottle (SKU6623) I missed 2020 as that was a short vintage and I did not reserve on time but 2023 is here and this represents one of the best Swiss Pinot values we will sell.
7 bottles(s) of Mohr-Niggli 2023 Pinot Noir Mainefeld Pilgrim for $60.99 per bottle (SKU6598) The 2023 Pilgrim has some of the prettiest, silkiest, limber, nimble, satin-like Pinot Noir textures in any Pinot Ive ever had. It is just ridiculous what this wine does with texture. It is so so delicate yet it has incredible palate presence. Just really starts with you but its so skeletal and precise. What makes it special is the delicacy.
12 bottles(s) of Pircher 2022 Pinot Noir Statdberg for $48.99 per bottle (SKU6700) The palate? Wow. Dense cherry fruit, spice, structure. Blind, you’d call old vines in two seconds. There’s this whisper of chocolate that rounds it out. The texture is insanely silky. Burgundian earthy sweetness, but with a structure and purity that feels more like early 2000s Dujac.
10 bottles(s) of Spreccher Von Bernegg 2023 Pinot Noir Lindenwingert for $45.99 per bottle (SKU6401) Such cut and the finest most beautiful tannins cut from a silken thread. It melts in your mouth once it gets going. Thats the magic of Spreccher Von Bernegg. Right there. Impressive. Insane perfumed inner mouth aromas that do not quit. So expansive, they almost violate the laws of physics. Terrific density and just the top 0.001% of purity. Perfect zen-like balance.
2 bottles(s) of Sprecher Von Bernegg 2023 Pinot Noir Von Pfaffen/Calendar for $59.99 per bottle (SKU6667) The palate is silken power, like the finest Pinot velvet draped over a granite skeleton. From the first sip, you get this rush of ultra-pure, perfectly ripe red and black fruit, cherries, red currants, black raspberries, all wrapped in a frame of crystalline acidity and fine grained tannins so soft they almost dissolve on contact.
3 bottles(s) of Weggelin 2022 Weisstorkel Blauburgunder BIO for $51.99 per bottle (SKU6530) There is … a magnificence. A regality about it that really almost defies description. When youve had a wine like this, you know what I mean – this harmonic, beautiful perfect quality. Brisset has itwhich is why I mention him as a comparable. You put it in your mouth and your brain almost stops.
1 bottles(s) of Weingut Familie Hansruedi Adank 2023 Pinot Noir Graubunden for $41.99 per bottle (SKU6276) Think of Grisons like the Cote de Nuits. This wine represents an absurd value. It’s got the Adank touch that he puts into his 1er and Grand Crus and it’s a window into his ineffable style. This is only his entry level and wow is it incredible.
2 bottles(s) of Weingut Riehen 2021 Le Petit Rouge for $40.99 per bottle (SKU6328) These wines really deliver on the palate. The mouthfeel is very serious with lots of acidity but also major sap and wonderful deep and dark fruit. Its so flavorful. It really has a unique intensity to it. The tannins are remarkable. They have lively acid to them but also are also sweet.

Loire
4 bottles(s) of Domaine des Roches Neuves 2022 Franc de Pied Saumur Champigny for $56.99 per bottle (SKU5577) This is, and I hate to use the word, but it really applies here, Burgundian to the max. Even more reason to be swooped by bitter, priced out Burg drinkers. It is so elegant, ripe, pure and just plain thrilling wine. Nimble.
9 bottles(s) of Domaine des Roches Neuves 2021 Franc de Pied Saumur Champigny for $48.99 per bottle (SKU5468) The 2020 Franc de Pied is incredibly reductive when it was first opened and needed a lot of time and a swirl with a copper coin. If you can be patient (5 minutes with a penny in your glass, or your currencys equivalent), its worth the wait. It reveals itself to be a richly fruited, savory style that fills the mouth with a balloon of chalky silkiness. The limestone element really shows itself on th
2 bottles(s) of Domaine des Roches Neuves 2021 Les Memoires Saumur Champigny Rouge for $52.99 per bottle (SKU4974)
7 bottles(s) of Domaine des Roches Neuves 2022 Clos de lEchelier Saumur Champigny Rouge for $59.99 per bottle (SKU5937) The 2020 Clos de lEchelier is a focused style of wine hailing from limestone that has a sense of tenderness through the mid-palate, while the sinew moves forward incessantly along the palate. It has a fine sense of spice and fruit-led fragrance on the long length. Very convincing.- 93 Points, VINOUS (2020)
6 bottles(s) of Domaine des Roches Neuves 2022 Franc de Pied Saumur Champigny for $58.99 per bottle (SKU5940) This is, and I hate to use the word, but it really applies here, Burgundian to the max. Even more reason to be swooped by bitter, priced out Burg drinkers. It is so elegant, ripe, pure and just plain thrilling wine.

Burgundy
6 bottles(s) of Domaine Jean-Marc and Hugues Pavelot 2022 Savigny Les Beaune 1er Cru Aux Gravains for $54.99 per bottle (SKU6536) This is first-rate and a wine that should richly reward extended keeping. -93 points, Burghound
7 bottles(s) of Domaine Jean-Marc and Hugues Pavelot 2021 Savigny Les Beaune 1er Cru La Dominode for $59.99 per bottle (SKU5537) La Dominode is justly known for its ability to age and this should only add to that legacy.. – 92 Points Burghound
2 bottles(s) of Dubreuil-Fontaine 2021 Corton Bressandes for $87.99 per bottle (SKU6165) he lilting, punchy and well-detailed flavors possess just a bit more size, weight and concentration while offering focused power on the youthfully austere, compact and lingering finale that has the stuffing to reward a decade plus of keeping. – 92 points, Burghound
6 bottles(s) of JJ Girard 2023 Savigny Les Beaune Rouge for $31.99 per bottle (SKU6703) That’s village-level Burgundy for under $30. You can barely get Bourgogne Rouge at that price anymore, let alone something this good
1 bottles(s) of JJ Girard 2022 Pommard 1er Cru Les Chaponieres for $73.99 per bottle (SKU6174)
4 bottles(s) of Julien Cruchandeau 2023 Beaune Les Bons Feuvres for $35.99 per bottle (SKU6483)
1 bottles(s) of Julien Cruchandeau 2023 Beaune Les Bons Feuvres for $34.99 per bottle (SKU6597) Really clean and well made. A wonderful new addition to the lineup. This is not the most complex wine but it has such amazing fruit texture and minerality. It’s so suave and refined for a Beaune wine which can be a bit dense and tannic.
1 bottles(s) of Maison Brisset 2023 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Noirots for $167.99 per bottle (SKU6749) You could drink this young, God knows it’s seductive enough, but it’s also going to age. Beautifully. Gracefully. With a little more shadow each year. This is high-voltage Chambolle. All the signature lift and perfume, but anchored in something darker. More complete.
4 bottles(s) of Maison Brisset 2023 Pommard 1er Cru for $99.99 per bottle (SKU6726) This 2023 Pommard 1er Cru may now be one of the top red wines Brisset makes.
12 bottles(s) of Maison Brisset 2022 Bourgogne Rouge Cuvee Gabrius for $38.99 per bottle (SKU6542) Palate is getting rounded and this has the elite fruit of Pierres higher end wines but doesnt have the complexity or length. But in 22 it’s the most complex version ever. But man that fruit and texture. After 4 hours this has gotten silkier, sweeter and sexier. Insane acids. Huge minerals. It dances on the palate.
6 bottles(s) of Maison Brisset 2023 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Cras for $143.99 per bottle (SKU6684) This is one of the more muscular, structured Chambolle 1er Crus, built for the long haul, but here’s the kicker Brisset’s magic touch takes that power and sculpts it into something utterly breathtaking. It’s as refined as it is intense, a wine that shouldn’t even be possible at this price
3 bottles(s) of Remi Poisot 2021 Pernand Vergelleses 1er Cru En Carradeaux for $55.99 per bottle (SKU5389)
4 bottles(s) of Remi Poisot 2023 Grand Cru Romanee St. Vivant for $469.99 per bottle (SKU6689) This is RSV at its most devastatingly refined. It’s a monument of a wine, something that will age into legend.
8 bottles(s) of Remi Poisot 2022 Pernand Vergelleses 1er Cru En Carradeaux for $53.99 per bottle (SKU6198) Yields were pretty good in 2022 but quality is super high. The wine is as good if not better than the legendary 2015 or 2017.
5 bottles(s) of Sarl Garaudet Pere et Fils 2021 Pommard Vieilles Vignes for $54.99 per bottle (SKU6135) There is a stunning balance between fruit and tannin. Dense and tannic but extraordinarily pure. Powerful (but not heavy), fruity and elegant with a dash of mineral now. Extraordinary density and length
9 bottles(s) of Sarl Garaudet Pere et Fils 2022 Volnay Vieilles Vignes for $53.99 per bottle (SKU6547) Garaudet’s wines are about purity of fruit and an imposing finesse and elegance while also being muscular. Wines of contrast but most notably for me the big leap he made is in purity of fruit, finesse and even better fruit quality and definition. The new ritzy terroir must help but his older wines that we used to sell are just amazing.
14 bottles(s) of Sarl Garaudet Pere et Fils 2021 Monthelie 1er Cru Les Champs Fulliot for $47.99 per bottle (SKU6553) The wine drinks you. VIVID in all caps is what describes the fruit on this wine to a T.
2 bottles(s) of Sarl Garaudet Pere et Fils 2022 Monthelie 1er Cru Les Riottes for $49.99 per bottle (SKU6206)
10 bottles(s) of Sarl Garaudet Pere et Fils 2021 Monthelie 1er Cru Les Riottes for $47.99 per bottle (SKU6552) Riottes is planted high up in Monthelie, which is high up as it is naturally, and it has red stony soil not unlike the best terroirs in neighboring Volnay. But the palate is so big, so intense, Florent says it acts like a Pommard. Id have to agree.
15 bottles(s) of Sarl Garaudet Pere et Fils 2021 Volnay Vieilles Vignes for $54.99 per bottle (SKU5910) His 21s are poetic and lyrical wines. So light in color was ephemeral with drop dead purity and transparency. Theres nimbleness and compelling fruit and some elegant muscularity as well.
7 bottles(s) of Vincent Ledy 2022 Haute Cotes de Nuits La Vacherotte for $38.99 per bottle (SKU6622) This drinks like a top-tier Nuits-Saint-Georges village wine, or honestly, a sneaky premier cru that slipped through the cracks. The concentration, precision, and sheer beauty of the fruit are astonishing.

Germany
11 bottles(s) of Enderle & Moll 2022 Bundsandstein for $51.99 per bottle (SKU6112)
2 bottles(s) of Gunther Steinmetz 2020 Muhlheimer Sonnenlay Pinot Noir*** for $34.99 per bottle (SKU6492) Very concentrated and impressively tannic, but also beautifully balanced and vibrant, this is an incredible Mosel pinot noir. if this was from Burgundy it would be more full-bodied, but this is decisively fresher and crisper, which gives it a terrific energy in the very long, focused finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2025. – 96 Points Pigott
5 bottles(s) of Gunther Steinmetz 2021 Alter Satz for $22.99 per bottle (SKU6691) This wine is peak wine geekery. I mean, this is as obscure as it gets, a field blend of Hartblau, Süßschwarz, Schwarzblauer, Affenthaler, Schwarzurban, and Fränkischer Burgunder, which, unless you are a historian of pre industrial viticulture, I guarantee you have never heard of.
9 bottles(s) of Gunther Steinmetz 2023 Kestener Herrenberg Pinot Noir for $29.99 per bottle (SKU6718) For a Mosel pinot noir this is so powerful and earthy you could mistake it for a Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru. Stacks of forest berry and baking spice aromas. The ample tannins are already beautifully integrated, but this wine was built for the long term and that’s something one should respect. Very long, savory and earthy finish. 95 Points, Stuart Pigott
5 bottles(s) of Jurgen Von der Mark 2022 Je Marche Seul Pinot Noir for $54.99 per bottle (SKU6524) I am offering this again as it was the first bottle I had from the new shipment and it blew my socks off and was the finest bottle I have ever had from Jürgen Von der Mark. But it really only got there after 24 hours when it had depth and sweetness I have never experienced ever in German wine. It reminded me of 90’s Burgs. I was speechless at how insane it was.
2 bottles(s) of Jurgen Von der Mark 2023 Spatburgunder Merdinger for $24.99 per bottle (SKU6662) Let me be perfectly clear: do not let the price trick you into thinking this is a charming little everyday Pinot. It’s not. This is a serious, detailed, incredibly complex, drop-dead gorgeous wine that just happens to cost next to nothing.
3 bottles(s) of Jurgen Von der Mark 2022 Je Marche Seul Pinot Noir for $54.99 per bottle (SKU6034) They are wispy and sneakily dense plus the Grand Cru wines have that trademark JVDM (Jürgen Von der Mark) for short. These are genius wines of the highest degree and made lovingly in small batches with the knowledge and experience of a master of wine.
18 bottles(s) of Juwel 2021 Alsheim Spatburgunder for $28.99 per bottle (SKU6460) It has a medium body feel to it in the mouth but is still nimble and most importantly it had the transparency her beautiful Rieslings have. Silky and tense yet inviting, this is a wine that is impossible to hate and easy to like, and easier to love.
3 bottles(s) of Martin Muellen 2022 Trarbacher Ungsberg Spatburgunder for $38.99 per bottle (SKU6603) It’s elegant but you can really feel the power in this wine. Some big spice that’s really a great counterpoint to the cherries. You also get a hint of sensualness. A bit savory as well in a restrained way.
5 bottles(s) of Richard Ostreicher 2017 Merlot for $42.99 per bottle (SKU6554) It’s a throwback, a Time Machine Merlot reminiscent of Bordeaux from 40 years ago. It’s grown on shell and limestone soils, adding a distinct mineral character. And it has an elegance that is rare in any wine today, let alone a Merlot.
2 bottles(s) of Richard Ostreicher 2022 Spatburgunder Rosen for $56.99 per bottle (SKU6367) Palate is so juicy and silken with just explosive mid and early season cherry fruit. A supple and alluring texture and sweet but just sweet fruit that really stakes a claim on your palate But is intermingled with spice, leather and stunning minerality. Very sapid – you just want to drink more and more of it. You get that integrated minerality that just balances it incredibly well.
1 bottles(s) of Sven Enderle 2022 Pinot Noir Kalk for $57.99 per bottle (SKU6674) Even I will struggle with this as this wine is unlike anything I have had in German Pinot yet it reminds me of so many things. The density of Dujac, Ziereisen and Thorle and the precision of Brisset, to name a few but it’s also unmistakably Sven
2 bottles(s) of Thorle 2022 Probstey Spatburgunder for $69.99 per bottle (SKU6595) The finest young Probstey I’ve ever tasted. A fire breathing dragon of a wine dressed in silk. Call it the Pinot you pull when your Burgundy obsessed friends start mouthing off. Pour it blind, and watch their ideology collapse in real time. This is worldview wrecking Pinot.
1 bottles(s) of Thorle 2022 Holle Spatburgunder Trocken for $79.99 per bottle (SKU6408)
2 bottles(s) of Thorle 2022 Holle Spatburgunder Trocken for $86.99 per bottle (SKU6569) The aromatic beauty of this astonishing German pinot noir is worth making a big effort to experience. Great Amarena cherry, raw meat and pepper complexity. Very concentrated and compact, with a velvety texture and salty freshness that must be experienced to be believed. And then the huge wave of savory and chalky complexity washes over you.- 99 points Stuart Pigott
12 bottles(s) of Thorle 2022 Saulheim Spatburgunder Kalkstein for $34.99 per bottle (SKU6525) The spice of this great German pinot noir is off the scale. Fantastic combination of concentration and fine tannins, with notes of cloves, licorice, dried rosemary, sage and raw meat on the medium-bodied palate. Wonderful freshness in the long, delicately chalky finish. From organically grown grapes. – 96 Points, Stuart Pigott
9 bottles(s) of Weingut Achim Durr 2020 Pinot Noir Hard 200 for $38.99 per bottle (SKU6500) YOU ALL NEED TO BACK UP THE TRUCK. THIS IS Apple Inc at $10! This is such a massive opportunity and it also is eerlily similar to Mobitz in that I will always be the only one to sell it because he is a friend and was introduced to me via a friend, Sven Enderle.
2 bottles(s) of Weingut Achim Durr 2022 Tom Pinot Noir for $41.99 per bottle (SKU6705) This wine should not exist. Let’s just start there. A German Pinot from a producer most of you have never heard of, made in the middle of nowhere, that manages, no, dares, to channel the exact emotional and tactile blueprint of a Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru.
5 bottles(s) of Weingut Josef Walter 2008 Spatburgunder J Centgrafenberg for $44.99 per bottle (SKU6695) This is a wine that redefines how you think about German Pinot. It’s structured, powerful, concentrated, but with the lift and delicacy of great Burgundy. There’s so much detail here, such freshness and clarity, it’s absolutely breathtaking. This wine isn’t just aging, it’s ascending.
2 bottles(s) of Weingut Josef Walter 2020 Pinot 274 for $99.99 per bottle (SKU6651) But what is this mythical creature? Oh, just my Franken dream come to life, something so mind-bendingly good that I knew it had to exist, but only Christoph had the cojones to make it. This is 40% Spätburgunder and 60% Frühburgunder. Read that again. Let it sink in.
17 bottles(s) of Ziereisen 2022 Rhini Blauer Spatburgunder for $39.99 per bottle (SKU6736) Rhini is elite Premier Cru territory, think Clos Saint-Jacques, Les Petits Monts, Caillerets. You get the full silhouette: silk and spine, fruit and frame. It’s almost confusing how complete it is for the price.

Southwest
2 bottles(s) of Familie Jouffreau Clos de Gamot 1986 Cahors for $159.99 per bottle (SKU5545)
4 bottles(s) of Familie Jouffreau Clos de Gamot 2022 Cahors Vignes Centenaires for $45.99 per bottle (SKU6638) Gamots Centenaires is pretty shocking, though. The first thing you notice when you finally sit down and take it in is that it gives you a luxe experience more like a Bordeaux super-second than anything youve had out of a Cahors bottle.
3 bottles(s) of Familie Jouffreau Clos de Gamot 2020 Cahors for $26.99 per bottle (SKU6146)
18 bottles(s) of Familie Jouffreau Clos de Gamot 2022 Cahors for $24.99 per bottle (SKU6640) I can’t think of any red wine under $30 from anywhere that ages this well. And it’s legit. It’s got the structure of elite Bordeaux. Think Rauzan-Segla, think Grand Puy Lacoste or think Canon. How else is this wine going to age 30+ years? This might be the best insider wine/QPR we have sold.
37 bottles(s) of Familie Jouffreau Clos de Gamot 2021 Cahors Clos Gamotine for $21.99 per bottle (SKU6243) This is a wine that I feel is necessary to sell now as many of you have tons of the two higher bottlings in the cellar and need something young, charming and crunchy to drink.

USA
2 bottles(s) of Martin Woods 2022 Pinot Noir Jessie James Vineyard for $61.99 per bottle (SKU6709) . . .the 2022 Pinot Noir Jessie James Vineyard is beautiful in the glass, with a floral and ripe perfume offering notes of framboise, light herbal notes, wild fresh herbs, and a touch of dark black fruit coming through, with black raspberries and dark stones. On the palate, it has a rich tannin structure, a ton of clarity, and a long finish. – 98 Points, Audrey Frick

1 bottles(s) of Bernard Gripa 2023 St. Peray Les Figuiers for $38.99 per bottle (SKU6602) More Roussanne-dominated yet including 40% Marsanne, the 2023 Saint-Péray Les Figuiers is a riper, richer white that has a more exotic style in its honeyed orchard fruits, sappy flowers, toast, and salty, mineral-like nuances. As with the Les Pins release, its beautifully balanced, medium to full-bodied, and impeccably made. Drink bottles over the coming 4-5 years. While the style between Gripas t
3 bottles(s) of Bernard Gripa 2022 St Joseph Le Berceau Blanc for $72.99 per bottle (SKU5888) It needs air to show at its best and is medium to full-bodied, has a layered, flawlessly balanced mouthfeel, integrated acidity, and sensational length on the finish. – 95+ Points, Jeb Dunnuck
4 bottles(s) of Bernard Gripa 2023 St Joseph Le Berceau Blanc for $69.99 per bottle (SKU6601) Made from 100% Marsanne and aged in 228-liter barrels with some lees stirring, the 2023 Saint Joseph Le Berceau Blanc reveals honeyed stone fruits, crushed stone, and ripe citrus, with beautiful minerality. Clean, pure, and balanced, with integrated acidity, medium body, and impressive length on the palate, this gorgeous white is best enjoyed over the coming 7-8 years, although it will evolve for
1 bottles(s) of Domaine des Pierres Seches 2023 St. Joseph Blanc for $34.99 per bottle (SKU6799) The 2022 St. Joseph Blanc is also from the steep craggy cliffs of St. Epine and also contains a considerable amount of old vines. White St. Epine is very rare. This is more by the river and gets more breezy and it not in St. Epine proper. Not much but a bit more and a little wind can change things for the better.
1 bottles(s) of Domaine du Tunnel 2021 St. Peray Cuvee Roussanne (5376) for $49.99 per bottle (SKU5376) It is incredibly rare to have a pure Roussanne in the Northern Rhone. And to have that wine made by the brilliant Stephane Robert, at the height of his powers, is indeed a treat. Even though St. Peray is south of Hermitage it has a more northerly quality than Hermitage. Hermitage Blanc is fatter and more decadent. St. Peray is always awash in minerals and may be the most mineral of the White Rhone
1 bottles(s) of Domaine du Tunnel 2023 St. Peray Pur Blanc for $89.99 per bottle (SKU6306) The 2019 Saint-Péray Pur Blanc is also tighter and more reserved at first, with subtle reduction in its chalky minerality, white peach, quince, acacia flowers, and spice-driven aromatics. These all carry to a full-bodied white with flawless balance, wonderfully integrated acidity, and again, this incredible salinity and minerally that comes through on the finish. Its unquestionably one of the fine
2 bottles(s) of Gonon 2022 St. Joseph Blanc Oliviers for $134.99 per bottle (SKU6231)
2 bottles(s) of Guillaume Gilles 2023 St. Peray for $59.99 per bottle (SKU6475) Amazing freshness and acids gives these wine insane lift. This is a blend of 67% Marsanne and 33% Roussanne from many massale, hand grafted vines. Usually the blend is 80% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne due to low Roussanne yields
5 bottles(s) of Jacques Lemenicier 2022 St. Peray Cuvee Elegance for $41.99 per bottle (SKU5864) This sees 1/3 new wood and is as ambitious a St. Peray as Ive ever tasted. Its 50% Marsanne and 50% Roussanne and some of the Marsanne is from the 1930s. 90+ years old.
5 bottles(s) of Julien Barge 2021 St. Joseph Blanc for $43.99 per bottle (SKU5621) This This when gets better and better every vintage and out of all the St. Joseph Blancs we work with this drinks the best young and also ages without a problem.
12 bottles(s) of Maison Alexandrins 2021 Hermitage Blanc (GCP) for $57.99 per bottle (SKU6143) The terroir Les Roucoles is the best for Marsanne in the whole world. This is from Les Roucoles and Maison Blanche. That is some tip top terroir. I mean top top. The price for this wine cannot be beat.

Burgundy
9 bottles(s) of Daniel-Etienne Defaix 2014 Chablis Les Lys for $59.99 per bottle (SKU6781) What you get in the glass is acid + minerality + time in a love triangle so tight it could cut glass. The wines snap. They shimmer. They don’t walk into a room, they carve their initials into the floorboards.
6 bottles(s) of Domaine Berlancourt 2022 Bourgogne Les Equinces for $38.99 per bottle (SKU6643) The 2022 Equinces is a standout example of what high-acid vintages can achieve. The acidity here is the driving force, providing energy, clarity, and a remarkable freshness that elevates every aspect of the wine. It’s a wine of finesse and depth, drinking with the elegance of a premier cru.
3 bottles(s) of Domaine Berlancourt 2022 Cuvee La Demoiselle for $51.99 per bottle (SKU6653) The Demoiselle is basically a less powerful Champans with more finesse and elegance. It still has that density, but its more of the coiled density type as opposed to the mouth filling psychotic type.
5 bottles(s) of Domaine Daniel-Etienne Defaix 2013 Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons for $49.99 per bottle (SKU6588) Vaunted 2013 Vintage – Patient Winemakers Had the Most Success And Wines Have Aged Stunnigly

2 bottles(s) of JJ Girard 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Abbaye de Morgeot for $99.99 per bottle (SKU6555) This wine has an aristocratic elegance that can only exist in elite White Burgundy. 8 bottles(s) of JJ Morel 2018 Bourgogne Blanc for $29.99 per bottle (SKU3688) Its not a particularly complex wine but it has more soul than a shoestore.

1 bottles(s) of Sarl Garaudet Pere et Fils 2022 Meursault Vieilles Vignes for $64.99 per bottle (SKU6293) And yes, Im comparing this to the return of Odysseus after fighting in the Trojan wars. He came back better and more experienced. Garaudets Meursault was always great. I had a 15 recently that was very impressive. But in the 7 years since we sold this, Garaudet has taken several leaps. This is an elite wine, full stop. Buy accordingly.

Chablis
9 bottles(s) of Domaine Daniel-Etienne Defaix 2012 Chablis 1er Cru Cote de Lechet for $51.99 per bottle (SKU6424) 2012 is so good as it has a compactness to it that I have always appreciated and loved.
2 bottles(s) of Domaine Servin 2022 Chablis 1er Cru Monte de Tonnere for $34.99 per bottle (SKU6363) Here too there is enough wood influence present to mention on the pure and elegant nose of spicy floral, apple and ocean spray. I very much like the texture of the vibrant and stylish middleweight flavors that flash ample minerality on the youthfully austere and long finish where a touch of bitter lemon zest slowly emerges. Lovely. – 91-93 Points, Burghound
14 bottles(s) of Jean Dauvissat Pere & Fils 2023 Chablis Mont-Mains Sourdelle for $34.99 per bottle (SKU6754) From 44-year-old vines in the commune of Beines, just across from the Vau de Vey Premier Cru, this is a lieu-dit wine masquerading as something far grander. 12 bottles(s) of Jean Dauvissat Pere & Fils 2023 Chablis Bas de Fourchaume for $30.99 per bottle (SKU6582) Palate grips with absolute authority—this is Chablis with a capital C. The minerality is relentless, driving straight through to a finish that resonates like a struck tuning fork.
1 bottles(s) of Jean Dauvissat Pere & Fils 2023 Chablis for $29.99 per bottle (SKU6560) Our best selling basic Chablis is anything but basic.

1 bottles(s) of Enderle & Moll 2021 Grauburgunder (4867) for $22.99 per bottle (SKU4867) This is skin contact Pinot Gris with an insane, alluring texture and so much zest and minerality. The color is darker than the other wines due to the darker color of Pinot Gris skins. It makes it more photogenic.
2 bottles(s) of Enderle & Moll 2021 Muller Thurgau Pur for $20.99 per bottle (SKU4929) This is from low yielding Müller-Thurgau vines and is unfiltered and the minimum amount of sulfur is added to make the wine stable. The maceration is very long and the subsequent skin contact gives this Müller Thurgau its own touch.
6 bottles(s) of Enderle & Moll 2021 Weißburgunder / Pinot Blanc Sphere for $42.99 per bottle (SKU6234)
1 bottles(s) of Enderle & Moll 2021 Grauburgunder / Pinot Gris Skins for $40.99 per bottle (SKU5533) This is from 40-50 year old Grauburgunder vines in shell-limestone soil from a puny .50 ha plot. . . . . complex bouquet with a flint reduction, medicinal herbs, red fruits, spices and noble bark wood, smooth acidity and opulent volume, the gentle tannins sustain citrus and grapefruit on the palate, long ethereal and vibrant finish.

Harmonious and impressive wine, build to age long, even if already enjoyable.
5 bottles(s) of Gunther Steinmetz 2023 Dhroner Hofberger Reserve for $45.99 per bottle (SKU6609) Enveloping nose of Amalfi lemons, wildflowers, flint and chamomile. Incredible concentration on the creamy yet very elegant palate, where the combination of great concentration and finesse makes this stand head and shoulders above the majority of dry wines from this excellent vintage in the Mosel. – 97 Points, Stuart Pigott
2 bottles(s) of Gunther Steinmetz 2023 Dhroner Grosser Hengelberg Riesling Monopollage for $37.99 per bottle (SKU6586) The nose of this extraordinary, barely off-dry riesling is a potpourri of candied citrus peel, dried rose petals and papayas. Incredibly concentrated, vibrant and focused, this leaps and bounds over the medium-bodied palate. Great slatey energy in the extremely long, filigreed finish. Fantastic aging potential, if you can resist it now. Drink or hold. – 98 Points, Stuart Pigott
4 bottles(s) of Gunther Steinmetz 2023 Wintricher Ohligsberg Rondel for $25.99 per bottle (SKU6673) This powerful and complex dry Mosel riesling is still very youthful, but the abundance of spicy and smoky nuances already makes it very fascinating. Terrific concentration and richness for a non-GG wine. Long, dry but creamy finish with just a hint of floral honey. Drink or hold. Screw cap. – 96 Points, Stuart Pigott
8 bottles(s) of Gut Hermannsberg 2019 Niederhausen Hermannsberg GG Reserve for $74.99 per bottle (SKU6287) This maturing dry riesling masterpiece has a fantastic elegance and stunning concentration. Please give it some air in the decanter and glass, because it becomes fresher with more air. Terrific slatey minerality and candied citrus character, the herbal and mineral energy driving the very long, complete finish. Decades of further aging potential. – 97 SP
4 bottles(s) of Gut Hermannsberg 2022 Traiser Bastei GG (2) for $88.99 per bottle (SKU6637) A mineral giant with a ton of smoke, wild herb and bergamot complexity. 6 bottles(s) of Gut Hermannsberg 2021 Felsenberg Schlossböckelheim GG for $59.99 per bottle (SKU5685) The touch of grapefruit-pith bitterness on the finish only adds to the vitality. 31 bottles(s) of Laible 2023 Durbacher Plauerlain Klingelberger 1782 Riesling Spatlese Trocken for $29.99 per bottle (SKU6496) Ive tasted a lot of young Klingelberger by Laible before but nothing prepared me for the 2023. It was mindblowing. It was maybe the greatest young Laible wine Ive had of all the wines. It took my breath away. It is the most balanced, refined, textured, elegant and pure Klingelberger so far.
2 bottles(s) of Markus Molitor 2020 Wehlener Klosterberg Auslese*** (Yellow Capsule) Pinot Blanc for $50.99 per bottle (SKU5808) Aged in noble Burgundy barrels for 18 months, the 2020 is going to be bottled in August this year and will need 6–10 years to become the show stopper the wine already pretends to be. Definitely a wine to pre-order. Release date: unknown. Tasted as a still-to-be-filtered sample in July 2022. – 96-98 Points, Stephan Reinhardt, WA
2 bottles(s) of Markus Molitor 2021 Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Auslese * Green Capsule for $37.99 per bottle (SKU5290)
8 bottles(s) of Martin Muellen 2023 Trarbacher Huhnerberg Spatlese Trocken** for $48.99 per bottle (SKU6605) Welcome to the heavenly paradise of the peach and apricot. Gigantic concentration and precision are married to totally profound slatey minerality. Still only medium-bodied and with extraordinary harmony for a wine of this caliber at this very early stage. – 98 Points, Stuart Pigott
2 bottles(s) of Richard Ostreicher 2021 Chardonnay Rossbach for $67.99 per bottle (SKU5865) The best comparison I can make is Elite Grand Cru Chablis but maybe with a touch of very good 1er Cru St. Aubin and some Ostreicher magic.
8 bottles(s) of Selbach-Oster 2023 Zeltinger Himmelreich Riesling Anrecht for $38.99 per bottle (SKU6564) What an incredible interplay of golden fruit aromas and fantastic spicy complexity this enormously concentrated and creamy Mosel riesling has. Not analytically dry, but with spot-on balance, and everything is perfectly integrated on the medium-bodied palate. An extremely long, caressing finish makes you forget all your troubles. – 98 Points Stuart Pigott
6 bottles(s) of Sven Enderle 2022 Muller Thurgau for $23.99 per bottle (SKU6721) This is a wine for people who think they’ve outgrown Müller-Thurgau. For people who forgot what summer wine can really do. This is Müller-Thurgau in high resolution. And it’s just the beginning.
35 bottles(s) of Sven Enderle 2022 Muller Thurgau for $23.99 per bottle (SKU6282) This is so good and a very new style for Sven. It’s less “natural” and in future vintages will be less and less natural as he will decrease the skin contact.
3 bottles(s) of Thorle 2023 Schlossberg Riesling for $44.99 per bottle (SKU6730) This amazing dry wine describes precisely the point when beautifully ripe riesling grapes tip over into the beginning of exotic overripeness. Lovely succulence with a touch of creaminess on the mid-palate, then the mineral acidity comes through and builds at the long, very pure and elegant finish. – 96 Points, Stuart Pigott
4 bottles(s) of Thorle 2023 Reserve Chardonnay for $37.99 per bottle (SKU6545) The complex nutty and smoky aromas are what make this great German chardonnay stand out. Stunning concentration with chalky and salty complexity on the compact, medium-bodied palate. I love the way the restrained orange fruit slowly unfurls in the glass. Fantastic energy in the long, driving yet precise finish. – 95 points, Stuart Pigott
1 bottles(s) of Thorle 2023 Kalk/Kriede Premier Cru Trocken for $24.99 per bottle (SKU6544) Chardonnay lovers, this cuvee of your favorite grape with pinot blanc is a beauty. You could easily mistake this for a village wine from one of the cooler areas in Burgundy. Terrific balance of ripe, concentrated citrus fruit, creaminess from maturation on the lees and cool, chalky minerality. Quite soft acidity, but a lovely minty freshness. – 94 Points, Stuart Pigott
2 bottles(s) of Thorle 2023 Holle Riesling Trocken for $54.99 per bottle (SKU6742) This great Rheinhessen dry riesling has everything that a really great dry white wine needs: depth and structure, minerality and vibrancy. But you can also find aromas from oyster shells to jasmine via delicate peachy notes. Incredibly fine texture as well as a wonderful saltiness right through the extremely long finish. 98 Points Stuart Pigott
1 bottles(s) of Ziereisen 2022 Jaspis GrauBurgunder Wurmlin Alte Reben for $59.99 per bottle (SKU6629) From vines planted in the late 1950s, the intensely golden-yellow colored 2021 Jaspis Grauer Burgunder Würmelin is incredibly deep, intense and complex on the nose, and I am sure none of you readers have had a deeper, more multilayered or at least fascinating Pinot Gris ever, no matter if dry or sweet. – 98 Points. Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate (2021)
2 bottles(s) of Ziereisen 2022 Gutedel Alte Reben 10-4 Jaspis for $109.99 per bottle (SKU6607) This wine is miraculous but stylistically so different from pretty much every top wine sold in the states that it may as well have been made by a time traveler. This is a wine I believe in like maybe no other wine in the world. I believe that it is one of the greatest white wines on the planet. Up there with the top wines from Keller, Roulot, Boudignon Roches Neuves, Ramonet, Chave . . .
1 bottles(s) of Ziereisen 2020 Jaspis GrauBurgunder Wurmlin Alte Reben for $63.99 per bottle (SKU5440) From 50+-year-old vines, the dark golden-orange 2020 Jaspis Grauer Burgunder Würmelin shows a deep, clear, refined, very elegant and balanced nose of ripe fruits and finely milled chalk. Rich and round yet also dry, fresh and saline on the palate, this is a full-bodied, powerful yet pure and refreshing mineral Pinot Gris with lingering salinity and fine, chalky tannins. The finish is clear and fre

Savoie
3 bottles(s) of Gilles Berlioz 2023 Resilience Chignin Bergeron for $62.99 per bottle (SKU5935) This is a combo of all the Rousannes as they had so mich damage. Really insane wine considering the conditions.

Switzerland
8 bottles(s) of Pircher 2023 Gewurztraminer for $35.99 per bottle (SKU6311) Today’s wine is the anti Gewurztraminer in that it is not even remotely in the same universe as these low acid, lychee, overripe goo monsters. This is the anti Gewurztraminer. First of all it is 12.5% alcohol which is the key so you know this is nowhere nearly as ripe as the 14.5% vulgarities from Alsace. Second of all it was presented to me blind and I had no idea what it was
8 bottles(s) of Sprecher Von Bernegg 2022 Completer for $57.99 per bottle (SKU6432) The flavor profile of Completer tends to be full bodied wines, with intense flavors of nuts, honey and dried fruits. But when it ages watch out as it gets aromas of truffle, dried apricots and spices. There is nothing like smelling an aged completer. Completer also has incredibly high acidity and extraordinary concentration which makes it an ideal candidate for long aging.
2 bottles(s) of Weingut Familie Hansruedi Adank 2023 Chardonnay Am Berg for $154.99 per bottle (SKU6633) Let’s not dance around it: this is not just the best Swiss Chardonnay I’ve ever tasted. It is one of the greatest Chardonnays Ive had full stop. Anywhere. From anyone.
2 bottles(s) of Weingut Riehen 2021 LE PETIT Blanc for $41.99 per bottle (SKU6444) The most brilliant Sauvignon Blanc we sell.

Italy
2 bottles(s) of Vini Chiussima 2022 Erbaluce Pajarin for $24.99 per bottle (SKU6018) This is a fantastic white wine that is a stunning value but it has barely any fruit. Be warned. But its so well made and has just profound mineralIty. Its just glorious.
25 bottles(s) of Vini Chiussima 2023 Erbaluce Pajarin for $25.99 per bottle (SKU6752) There’s energy here. There’s acid. But none of it pokes. It flows. Seamless. Vivid. The inner-mouth florals are faint but moving, hawthorn, linden, dried chamomile. The finish echoes with rock dust, white grapefruit, cold steel, lemon oil. It just keeps going. And it keeps tightening. As if the wine gains tension with air rather than relaxing.
2 bottles(s) of Vini Marino 2024 Fiano Vendemmia Tardiva for $30.99 per bottle (SKU6711) The palate is where it all locks in. Yes, you get the tropical fruit, pineapple skin, golden mango, but it’s mineral sheathed, laced with sea salt, and cut with this incredible blade of acidity. This is where the bee sting comes in. That tiny zap of energy at the front of your tongue, like honey with a voltage charge. It’s the sign of great Fiano.

Champagne
5 bottles(s) of Caillez-Lemaire NV Eclats Extra Brut for $41.99 per bottle (SKU6212)
16 bottles(s) of Caillez-Lemaire NV R Eclats Extra Brut for $45.99 per bottle (SKU6719) This is just eerily beautiful and amazingly delicious wine that grabs your attention. Almost like a GG Champagne. Mosel meets Damery.
36 bottles(s) of Caillez-Lemaire NV Eclats Extra Brut for $42.99 per bottle (SKU6578) This is just eerily beautiful and amazingly delicious wine that grabs your attention. Almost like a GG Champagne. Mosel meets Damery.
3 bottles(s) of Caillez-Lemaire 2017 Pur Meunier for $64.99 per bottle (SKU6753) There are wines you recommend. And there are wines you plead over. This is one of the latter. This is a unicorn, and not in the Instagram way. It is allocated. It is miniscule. It is not reviewed. It is not hyped. It is simply brilliant, and hiding in plain sight.
4 bottles(s) of Caillez-Lemaire NV Reflets Extra Brut for $39.99 per bottle (SKU6579) 50% Pinot Meunier, 35% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay. All Vallée de la Marne. All 2021. This is a GG-level Champagne in disguise. A Tuesday-night bottle that drinks like a secret.
3 bottles(s) of Caillez-Lemaire 2017 Chardonnay de la Valle Blancs de Blancs Brut Nature for $57.99 per bottle (SKU6473)
2 bottles(s) of Diot Benoit 2010 Millésime Vieilles Vignes GC for $75.99 per bottle (SKU6508) This thing is absurd. Every bottle I had last summer in the Rhône was outrageous, and this was the one that made me text people I hadn’t spoken to in years just to say: Champagne is still capable of greatness. It doesn’t just check every box, it redraws the form entirely and then sets it on fire.
39 bottles(s) of Marie Demets NV Tradition Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut for $37.99 per bottle (SKU6686) This is the greatest $33 Champagne I have ever tasted. It is not close. This is a door into a whole new era at Marie Demets. It is as ultra-serious a Champagne as there ever was. 100% Pinot Noir from the 2020 and 2021 vintage, disgorged on April 4, 2023, with just 4 grams of sugar.
26 bottles(s) of Marie Demets NV Couer de Saignee for $39.99 per bottle (SKU6627) This isn’t rosé as afterthought. This isn’t strawberry soda. This isn’t a house’s third-label sparkling wine dyed pink to meet demand. This is rosé as philosophy, rosé as provocation, rosé as one of the great forms of Champagne.
6 bottles(s) of Pierre Moncuit NV Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra Brut Les Grands Blancs for $52.99 per bottle (SKU6157) The latest rendition of Moncuits NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is very successful, wafting from the glass with notes of lemon oil, green apple, wheat toast and fresh peach, followed by a medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural palate thats quite fruit-driven this year, with a broad attack, an open-knit but nicely incisive core and a precise finish. 92 Points, WA, William Kelley

Loire
4 bottles(s) of Domaine de la Croix des Vainqueurs NV NV Vouvray Mousseaux Method Traditionnelle Brut for $34.99 per bottle (SKU6723) This is what happens when discipline meets decadence. When a winemaker understands the limits of pleasure and lets the wine walk right up to the edge of indulgence, then pulls back with the kind of grace you can’t teach. This isn’t just Vouvray Mousseux. It’s controlled opulence in a flute.

Germany
9 bottles(s) of Thorle 2021 Blanc de Blancs Brut for $30.99 per bottle (SKU6733) At $30, it is a piece of Champagne-level winemaking without the Champagne price. The bead is fine, the texture silken, the fruit crisp and defined. There is depth from lees aging, a savoriness that builds with air, and a saline cut that keeps everything taut. It drinks with the elegance and balance of a wine far more expensive, while carrying the vitality of a category still in its ascent.
3 bottles(s) of Thorle 2021 Blanc de Blancs Brut for $29.99 per bottle (SKU6320)

Rose Wines
—————————————————————————-

Rhone
5 bottles(s) of Chateau de Trinquevedel 2023 Tavel Les Vignes dEugene Rose for $37.99 per bottle (SKU6750) This is a wine that doesn’t play by the pink-wine rulebook. It’s a wine that comes from Tavel, the historic Rhône appellation only for rosé, no reds, no whites, just a laser focus on getting this singular style right. And this cuvée? This isn’t the Trinquevedel you grew up seeing on shelves at Brookline Liquor Mart (My alma mater in Boston!) for $6.99.

Italy
1 bottles(s) of Motalli Renato 2020 Rosato for $31.99 per bottle (SKU6140) This is always one of my favorite roses. 100% Nebbiolo and you can tell. Incredibly vinous/serious and elegant. The aperitivo they serve in heaven.
1 bottles(s) of Motalli Renato 2018 Rosato (4754) for $29.99 per bottle (SKU4754) So I really almost never offer rose because roses mostly all have a particular flavor (from the skin contact) of which, frankly, Im not a fan. This one does not have that. It is just so incredibly clean and well made. Im offering this because, well, its just simply really, really delicious.

Germany
7 bottles(s) of Sven Enderle NV Pinot Noir / Pinot Gris Rose Alea for $23.99 per bottle (SKU6283) This is NV as 23 was very difficult for Pinot Noir all over Germany so he blended some 22 in thus we have the NV designation. Alea is named for Sven’s niece.
3 bottles(s) of Sven Enderle NV Pinot Noir / Pinot Gris Rose Alea for $23.99 per bottle (SKU6722) The palate is a study in contrast. It’s feather-light but forceful. Nimble, but with grip. You get citrus oil and red berry skins right up front, but then this surge of savory, tree bark, dried herbs, and crushed granite, pulls everything taut. The acidity is racy, electric, but not sharp. It’s perfectly modulated.

Germany
18 bottles(s) of Gunther Steinmetz 2023 Piesporter Domherr Kabinett for $24.99 per bottle (SKU6612) Incredible peachy finesse and a balance that makes this really compelling. So elegant and refined that you don’t think about the power that’s below the waterline. You can feel some natural grape sweetness, but the slatey acidity sings the solo, and who can resist that? Extremely limited production. Drink or hold.- 96 points, Stuart Pigott
23 bottles(s) of Gunther Steinmetz 2023 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett for $23.99 per bottle (SKU6277) Here is a beautiful and very classic riesling Kabinett from this very famous site. Elegance, silkiness and purity all converge in this delicate and light-bodied masterpiece. Then comes the fantastic interplay of juiciness and savoriness in the very long, beautifully balanced finish! 95 SP
10 bottles(s) of Gunther Steinmetz 2024 Piesporter Treppchen Kabinett for $29.99 per bottle (SKU6724) This is one of the most crystalline, acid ripped, mineral-drenched Kabinetts I’ve tasted in years. This wine is pure lightning. We’re talking 10 grams of acidity. 2010-level voltage. You could power a small city off this bottle.
10 bottles(s) of Gunther Steinmetz 2022 Piesporter Treppchen Auslese for $38.99 per bottle (SKU6576) Not the most opulent Mosel riesling Auslese, but the concentration is mind-boggling. Yes, there’s plenty of exotic fruit character, but it is anything but loud. Tons of white flower aromas and just a touch of mangosteen and passion fruit. Then, when you think you know what this magnificent wine is all about the finish comes crashing over you like a great wave. – 99 points Stuart Pigott
6 bottles(s) of Gunther Steinmetz 2023 Brauneberger Juffer Kabinett for $23.99 per bottle (SKU6399) A very great Kabinett with a sensational interplay of restrained stone fruit aromas and vitality on the barely medium-bodied palate. So much wet stone freshness and such a crystalline purity in the extremely long, straight finish. – 97 Points, SP
2 bottles(s) of Gunther Steinmetz 2022 Piesporter Grafenberg Kabinett for $22.99 per bottle (SKU6089) Very exciting interplay between racy acidity and concentrated and juicy fruit on the sleek palate. 94 Points, Pigott
15 bottles(s) of Markus Molitor 2020 Urziger Wurzgarten Spatlese Gold Capsule for $28.99 per bottle (SKU5818) The wine is filigreed, refined and saline and shows crystalline, ripe acidity. This is a highly delicate Spätlese that needs some time to open up its nose as well, but its a long-distance runner anyway. 7.5% stated alcohol. – 95 Points, WA, Stephan Reinhardt
7 bottles(s) of Markus Molitor 2020 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett Gold Cap for $27.99 per bottle (SKU5817) Full-bodied, crystalline and fresh on the palate, this is a pure, saline and terribly fresh but mouth-watering ZSU Kabinett with fine and precise acidity and a tight and tensioned finish that needs some years to refine. 7.5% stated alcohol. 95 Points, WA, Stephan Reinhardt
2 bottles(s) of Markus Molitor 2021 Zelitnger Schlossberg Riesling Auslese*** Gold Cap for $89.99 per bottle (SKU5530)
4 bottles(s) of Markus Molitor 2022 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese*** Gold Capsule for $97.99 per bottle (SKU6451) The 2022 Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese *** (Golden Capsule) is very clear, refined and elegant on the nose that shows perfectly ripe fruit reminiscent of lush peaches. Intense yet crystalline and thus refined and uplifted, this is a very elegant yet tensioned and stimulatingly frisky Auslese with precise and savory fruit. There is great finesse and weightlessness here. – 98 WA, Reinhardt

3 bottles(s) of Martin Muellen 2023 Trarbacher Huhnerberg Auslese Schmoll for $78.99 per bottle (SKU6614) It’s amazing how the aromas of caramelized mandarin oranges and apricots roll over you in one huge wave. Dense and succulent, this great Auslese has fantastic aromatic sweetness. Good freshness and dynamism are married to great richness. So beautifully balanced as a result. Very limited production. Drink or hold.- 97 Points, Stuart Pigott
2 bottles(s) of Schloss Johannisberg 2023 Rosalack Auslese for $77.99 per bottle (SKU6310) Fabulous peachy finesse that makes me think of the pink shimmer on the skin of a beautiful white peach. Delicacy, delicacy, delicacy. And no less finesse. Extremely long, filigreed finish with an underlying wet stone character that electrifies this masterpiece of purity. – 99 points, SP
13 bottles(s) of Spater-Veit 2023 Piesporter Goldtropfchen Kabinett Armes for $25.99 per bottle (SKU6720) You don’t sip this wine. You drift inside it. One glass becomes two, becomes half the bottle, and you don’t even notice. Because this is that rare Kabinett that defies gravity, a wine of such balance and ease it practically levitate
4 bottles(s) of Wilhelm Weber-Osterman 1992 Wintricher Grosser Hergott Spatlese for $29.99 per bottle (SKU6589) The acid is just exploding and the unreal freshness of this youthful/old wine is remarkable. Finish is all terroir, florals and that’s that old school Mosel acid bite. As it airs the finish gets longer and longer. Much younger taste than it smells. Very fresh wine that has 15-20 years ahead of it.
